Another trend I am questioning is the ruffle. This ruffle trend for this 2013 Spring season I am not too sure about. I never really liked ruffles and I thought they were more for younger girls than older women. I have been investigating about this ruffle trend, and looking at exactly what some of these outfits look like. Ruffles haven't really been showing up in fashion since the 80's. If any of us have seen ruffles its like I said dress on little girls or on flamenco dancers... which in my opinion is not a good look to begin with.. ANYWAYS. For the 2013 look of ruffles they decided to try and make it more modern. Designers who chose to have this ruffle in their clothing lines/collections wanted it to be different, have it look newer and more refreshed. This direction of fashion is very dramatic, the bigger the ruffle the better I guess? I understand some fashions on the runways are meant for the runway, and some are ready-to-wear. This ruffle fashion I don't think it should be taken off the runway nor do I think many are going to be up for the challenge of it. Ruffles are a tough style to master and deffinetly are not meant to be worn on your normal day to the office, especially how BIG they are making these ruffles be. Here are some photographs of this fad.
