Spring Teaser

Yesterday it was 50 & sunny, today it's a blizzard & up to 20 inches of snow is expected here in upstate NY! How can mother nature mess with us this way?! To think a week or so ago I was in weather with palm trees, blue waters, and warm sand between my toes to zero degree weather, high winds, and snow. I was lucky enough to be called off from my job today, so now I can join the group of Rochesterians who get a snow day!

Today I am snuggled up in bed, reading the latest vogue with a full cup of coffee enjoying my snow day! I won't be leaving this house today that's for sure! I am hoping this is the last and final snow day I will be having this year. I don't want to see this snow on the ground, I would like to see the green grass underneath it instead! I am praying that this weather goes away and for good! What are your favorite activities to do on snow days? Today I think is a Netflix kind of day, time to catch up on my favorite shows & on some old school movies. Stay warm everyone! We're half way to the weekend, we can do it!:)

Let's Add Some Flare to Our Friday

  It's Friday! Time for the work to end & the chaos to begin! I am sick of winter clothes. I am ready to switch my closet over to skirts, crop tops, and strappy sandals. I am over the leggings, fur vests, and over-sized sweaters. HEY don't get me wrong, I love being comfy, but I am ready to have fun with my style again! Summer time for me is always more fun to style myself for & shop for. I am ready to add some flare to my wardrobe again.

  This summer season we are seeing a lot of flamboyant colors, floral prints, & flare. I may have to give some of these a try (within reason) to add to my wardrobe. I don't normally go for flare or very bright colors, but hey each season I try to add something different to my wardrobe than before. I like having an adverse style. Of course my style will always be unique to me, but I like adding a different flare to it as each season and year goes by. We'll see what I have up my sleeve for this upcoming season, I am ready for a change & some sun would be nice!!

Celeb Copy Cat

      Everyone is trying to dress as if they are a celebrity, especially after this weekend looking at all the fashion trends at the Oscars. Of course in the daily life of most, the elegance of what was worn that night is not realistic. All of the latest  and greatest celebs were there rocking their hollywood looks and flashing those million dollar smiles, but hey let's remember we can look just like them!
   Lupita Nyong’o was and has always been a WOW factor at the awards with her outfit choices. She always seems to shake it up on the red carpet & in all the breaking fashion news.
