Well I was looking through one of my favorite fashion sites and magazine, Glamour. I was looking at there "top 10 most wearable fashions for Spring of 2013." I already new funky sunglasses, bright colored glasses, jeweled sunglasses, and anything else in between was perfectly acceptable for this upcoming season. Diane Von Furstenburg's Spring show really caught my eye. I have looked at some of the fashion show's throughout these past couple months, but the sunglasses I found from this Glamour article were from her show.
Her show in my opinion was outstanding. Many magazines and articles said her collection was "ready-to-wear." She had flattering silhouettes with neon colors, which like I mentioned before, bright colors are always acceptable in the Spring/Summertime. Of course with this collection she was spot on relateable with many of her fans and fellow fashionista followers. These outfits were not only wearable, but they were realistic to many womens styles I thought. She took us all back in time with her 70's inspired collection. Obviously, I was not physically there at this show, but you know what they say,"pictures can say a thousand words." These pictures of her show "screamed" more than a thousand words to me. Her outfits were funky, fun, bright, and made you feel like you were back in the 70's These ladies on her runway could have walked off and went to a dance club with these stellar outfits!
Besdies her outfits being phenonimal, she had some unique glasses herself. I don't know if any of you have heard about these glasses "Google" has been working on. I have heard about them for the last year or so. On my local radio station they were talking about them when they were first being "introudced" and discussed to being made and available to the public. These glasses are called "Google Glass", apparently they are very high-tech and "futuristic." Furstenburg was rocking these shades as she took her bow down the runway after her show. People were wondering what exatly were those shades capable of doing? WELL these "futuristic" glasses were filiming the footage of the show behind the scenes, basically where she went, the glasses were recording every move she made during/before/after the show. These glasses are amazing and I can't wait to see what the price of these are going to be when they are introuduced to the public. Would you buy these new "Google Glass" specs?
Here are some photographs from her show.
