Turning 23 Wasn't So Bad.

January is almost over already can you believe it? This new year has already been flying by in my eyes, so much has been going on since I've been back in LA. BUT 2015 is off to a great start in my book and I am ready for all the challenges that come my way! This month began my last semester at FIDM, I feel like I just moved to California. I've already gained so much more knowledge about the fashion industry and have accomplished so much. School is my main focus right now, but I can't help to think what happens after graduation? Where will I end up finding a job and making my new home?

January is also my birthday month....which is pretty exciting! So this past weekend I was celebrating turning 23 with some close friends. Living in LA, this is the first time I have ever celebrated a birthday without my family, it was definitely bitter-sweet without my loved ones from home. Even though I shouldn't complain because even though I am so far away, I am still spoiled and treated like a princess. I was so blessed by my family and friends, I felt so much good energy and love from them as they celebrated another birthday with me. This weekend I celebrated my 23rd birthday with great friends I made while going through my journey of taking on LA.

This past month has really made me think about what I want in life and where I want to go. I have so many opportunities in front of me and so much options that can come my way I cannot wait to see where I end up. All my hard work, passion, creativity, and drive has gotten me this far, so I can only imagine where this new year is going to take me. I realized yes I may look lucky to some, but I am just blessed.

It's 2015, Anything Goes.

It's January & I can't believe it! It's my birthday month by the way everybody, I turn 23 on the 23rd this month. This birthday is my golden birthday, & what a great way to start off the new year with a special birthday. This new year is a time for new experiences, new goals, new challenges and a fresh slate for your future. It's 2015, anything can happen, how exciting is that? I was so thankful for the time I got to have at home with my friends & family. It was such a blessing, and I loved every minute of it. I had so much fun with the ones I care about most & that was the best present I could have gotten. Now I am back in LA, starting my last semester at FIDM on Monday. YES, I said LAST SEMESTER! It's so surreal thinking back to where I was six months ago and where I am now. I am so proud for what I have accomplished so far & I know I can only go up from here. I've learned so much about myself & what I want for my future. I am so proud of how independent I have become & how much I've grown to really be happy again with where I am going in life. Hard work, passion, creativity, and confidence can truly get you to where you want to be. Having positive attitude & strong dedication make a huge difference in achieving your dreams. I have such a passion for what I do & I can't wait to show that to the fashion world around me. It's 2015, anything goes, time to enjoy your life & achieve your dreams. Take each day one step at a time, take time for yourself, give new people a chance, spread love, and just overall be happy with your life!
